Kids Academy Days of the Week is a children’s educational song created by the YouTube channel Kids Academy for preschool and kindergarten audiences. The song is described as a catchy song-along tune to introduce your kindergarten kid to the days of the week in an amusing way.<ref> https://kidsacademy.mobi/video/days-of-the-week-song-for-kindergarten-kids-children-songs-with-lyrics </ref> The main animal in the song is used by seven adorable elephants for each day of the week. The lyrics appear on the screen to help preschoolers and kindergartners learn the days of the week. <ref> https://kidsacademy.mobi/video/days-of-the-week-song-for-kindergarten-kids-children-songs-with-lyrics </ref> The song is known for its bright visuals, colorful elephants, balloons, and a repetitive structure that labels every day as a "fun day." Although intended as a learning tool, it later became notable for being banned on the iDaisy Woo.
Overview
The song introduces all seven days of the week using simple melodies and animated characters. Each day is paired with a colorful elephant performing an activity. The activity days include Sunday for carousels, Monday for school, Tuesday for basketball, Wednesday for library (with the bird), Thursday for museum, Friday for shopping, and Saturday for sailboats and fishing, but the thumbnail is used for the fishing part. The repeated phrase "fun day" appears throughout the song for all seven days of the week.
History
iDaisy
The Kids Academy Days of the Week song was introduced to iDaisy on October 11, 2020.<ref> Source: Goneforever's photo gallery </ref> The song returned to iDaisy on January 25, 2026<ref> Goneforever's old iPad, photo gallery </ref> and also spread on February 8, 2026. It has believed that on December 23, 2025, Daisy learned that the Tuesday part had called it a "fun day", but she thinks it is a "cool day" before she viewed a snapshot from Dhhd.
On February 13, 2026, Goneforever played the Friday part at maximum volume on an actual Friday, and it scared all non-troublemaker iDaisy members, which is why it became Category 4A+.
On February 14, 2026, it became a pandemic. Elmer and Daisy had to fight back.
On April 3, 2026, it had believed that Wednesday joined iDaisy because the bird was the only allowed item from the song, in iDaisy.
On April 4, 2026, Daisy verified that the algorithm might show the song on other Days of the Week videos, including Pinkfong, which made Daisy fustrated.

The video was uploaded to YouTube on July 12, 2017 by Kids Academy. It was marketed for children ages 2–6 and labeled as a "Days of the Week song for Kindergarten Kids." Over time, the song became a subject of parody due to its unusual day‑activity pairings and its highly repetitive structure.
Status on the iDaisy Woo
On the iDaisy Woo, the song is banned for all ages. It is classified as a:
- Category 2 violation — maximum 6‑month brig if on Friday part; 1-6 month brig depending on part; specific part brig times are found here.
- Category 2A violation (if played on Friday, not with the Friday part) — 7–11 months brig

What is not banned
The bird, from the Wednesday part, is fully allowed and is allowed for reuse. It requires Daisy’s permission to reuse expect when used on the iDaisy Wiki and taking a picture of it anywhere on the iDaisy Woo. The bird is not banned because it is more like Pinkfong-style because it is not an elephant, not Kids Academy.
Reception
Outside of the iDaisy Woo, the song remains a typical early-learning video teaching the Days of the Week. Kids Academy labeled the song for ages 2-6, but it is best for ages 3-6 and is worst for non-potty trained and 2-3 year olds because it is too long. Most parents and teachers used the song for early learning in preschool and kindergarten about the days of the week.
